2020 being a tumultuous year, full of anxiety and worry, in spite of it all, it was necessary to have hope and stay alive.
The DWP academy didn’t hesitate to bring joy and relief to Ghanaians through dance.
As a matter of fact, the academy birthed innovative ways to teach dance moves and create entertainment for Ghanaians In 2020 while chalking notable achievements.
The first was a feature in the prestigious Black is King video by the renowned international artists Beyoncé. The DWP Academy did Ghanaians proud as they were one of the few dancers from Africa featured.

Furthermore, the DWP academy went ahead to produce a virtual concert . The concert had thousands of people across the globe streaming at the same time. Some of the performances were by Dancegod Lloyd, Afrobeast, D Jay among others
In addition the Academy had online dance classes due to the restrictions on physical meetings. To their surprise they had people across the world signing up for the class.
Lastly, the academy set a record of being the only dance school to have a solo performance in the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.
DWP known as one of the best dance schools in Ghana and Africa proved to the world they have multi talented personalities who are not just dancers but also do music as well. The academy's instructor, DancegodLloyd featured Ghanaian rapper Medikal on a song titled “Sika”. “Sika” had a dance challenge which got hundreds of dancers across the world taking part.
The Academy is super excited about 2021 and can’t edit to do even much bigger things for Ghanaians and people all over the world

The Dance With A Purpose (also known as DWP) academy is a dance school that offers tuition to anyone who has a passion for dance. It was founded by 3 individuals, Ernest Kwablah (Quables), Laud Konadu (Dancegod Lloyd) and Nicolas Botchway (Afrobeast). who are keen to change the African narrative one dance step at a time and make a lasting impact. Most Popular dances like Sho, Akiti, Dindon, pusese, Baye, Reverse shaku, Adwodwo, and the Adonko dance originated from the academy. Members and coaches of the school have featured in countless music dance videos of both local and international artiste like Stonebwoy, King Promise, Shatta Wale, Medikal, Mr. Eazi, Wizkid, Patoranking, Eugy official, etc.
